Due to budget cuts, the Dutch Government is planning to close some Consul General posts around the world and to our regret, the Dutch Consulate in Atlanta will be closing on Jan 1st 2016. After this date, all Dutch passport holders will have to travel to Washington DC, a General consulate or to the Netherlands to renew their passport. Please note that as of March 9th 2014, new passports and identity cards for adults will be valid for 10 years.
