In 2015, Georgia’s film industry was ranked third in the nation behind California and New York.  The knock-on effect on Georgia’s wider economy has been stunning, effecting everything in Georgia from logistics, hotels, catering and farmers to musicians, carpenters and the creative community. If you want know more about the hottest industry in Georgia, don’t miss this breakfast meeting!
Lee Thomas, a native Atlantan, is the Deputy Commissioner of the Georgia Film, Music & Digital Entertainment Office (a division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development).  She’s been attracting major films and television projects to Georgia for over 20 years, including global hits like The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Blind Side, Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil, Footloose, Fast 5, The Conspirator, and Zombieland.
