Payout Of AOW Pensions In The U.S., Online Information Session

Dutch people living in the US who have built up a small or larger pension under the Algemene Ouderdomswet (AOW) when they lived in the Netherlands are confronted with the complexities of having this pension paid out in the United States.
The Netherlands has a Social Security Agreement with the United States, which stipulates that residents of the US must apply for payout of their Dutch AOW pension through the US Social Security Administration, which leads to massive confusion not only for those applying for pay-out, as well as in their local Social Security Office.
The NAF Boston Chapter is pleased to announce that a team of the “Sociale Verzekeringsbank” (SVB), the organization in the Netherlands responsible for AOW payments, will visit Boston to present an information session on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 2PM EST, 1PM CST, 12PM MST and 11AM PST. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions about the process.
***This session will be streamed live for people outside the NAF community. Registration is required to receive information on how to log into the live session.*** To accommodate spouses etc. who do not understand Dutch, the event will be conducted in the English language.
