Our category is transport and logistics with an emphasis on supply chain services. We have 3 pillars in our organization:

Freight iProcurement
Freight Audit and Payment

How do you describe your job to people outside the industry? 
We provide management of customers of International and Domestic transport networks focusing on optimizing the movement of raw and finish goods throughout the supply chain. We offer a full scope of services that includes supplier management, transport management, iProcurement and Freight Bill and Audit with claims management.

Who are your main competitors and what differentiates you from the competition? What makes you unique?  
Our competition is Global freight forwarding companies and domestic non asset based companies. We deploy a supply chain suite of IT modules that are offered as an integrated management solution and as individual solutions as required and configured to our clients business environment
How was the business started?   
Since its inception in May 2004, nVision has evolved from a regional Freight Payment company to one of the fastest growing Global Freight Audit, Payment and Logistics Management software and service providers in the industry
How many employees does the business have?  
We have globally 236 people employed and have operating centers in North America, Latin America, EMEA and ASIA

How did you end up in Atlanta?
We moved 7 years ago for my previous company to New Jersey . When I started with nVision we wanted to move in the summer of 2011 already but due to the difference in education between NJ and GA we waited till summer 2012 so that my son could graduate in NJ.
We are now living in Conyers GA.

 What is your number one business goal over the next year?  
Our business goals for the next year is to expand our business services across multiple market verticals globally.

What is the best advice you have received regarding doing business with Americans/Dutch?
The best advice is to be honest and straight to your business partners. They have to use to it at the beginning but then they are realizing what have with you. Americans are always optimistic and we are sometimes conservative, but if you can bring the mix on the table you have the best results.

Any other personal information you would like to share, e.g. hobbies, special interests, family etc…
My wife and I like to explore the USA for vacation and are still not finished with this great adventure. We have a son of 18 years old, who moved back to Holland in January 2013 to Study on HVA in Amsterdam for 4 years. We mostly travel 1x year back to Holland to see family and relatives or they come over to the USA for a nice vacation.
